Hypnosis (Pediatric/Adult)

Hypnosis is an effective and evidence-based mindfulness tool that uses focused attention and imagination to help clients of all ages train their brains to create new pathways and learn new skills. The process is a lot like daydreaming on purpose—something children are naturally gifted at.

During a session, the client is guided into a relaxed state of focused awareness. Through multisensory imagery and gentle suggestion, this state deepens, and the mind becomes more receptive to learning, change, and positive reinforcement. In this space, the brain begins to rewire itself, making it easier to let go of unhelpful patterns and create new, healthier ones.

The suggestions offered during hypnosis are always tailored to each client’s goals, helping set positive expectations for the future while strengthening confidence, resilience, and clarity.

Session Structure

Hypnosis sessions are personalized and supportive, creating a safe space for change:

  1. Pre-Talk & Intention Setting – Each session begins with a brief conversation to answer questions, explore goals, and establish comfort. For children, the decision about whether a parent stays in the room is left to the child’s preference.
  2. Relaxation & Focus – The client reclines or sits comfortably while being guided into a calm, receptive state using gentle relaxation techniques.
  3. Guided Imagery & Suggestions – Through vivid, multisensory imagery and positive suggestion, the client’s attention is focused in a way that strengthens the brain’s capacity to shift, learn, and respond.
  4. Integration – The session closes with reinforcement of positive changes, helping the brain begin to embody new responses and healthier patterns.
  5. Discussion & Reflection – After emerging from hypnosis, we take time to reflect on the experience and discuss any insights or next steps.
